1. Who we are

Belvanger is a service for trade businesses, an initiative of Wesley Visser, currently in a pilot phase and not (yet) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK). Contact: WhatsApp · info@belvanger.nl.

2. What we do

Belvanger catches your business's missed calls and automatically sends the caller a message, so you don't lose a lead. You can also get a website and an overview of your leads. You call your customers back yourself. We don't take over your work, we just provide the safety net underneath.

3. Pilot phase

Belvanger is currently offered as a trial to see whether the service is valuable. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. We do our best, but you can't expect uninterrupted availability during this phase.

4. No guarantee of results

We can't guarantee how many extra jobs or how much revenue Belvanger will bring you. That depends on many things outside our control. We promise a working safety net, not a specific number of customers.

5. Price and cancellation

We agree the price together in advance. There's no long-term contract: you can cancel monthly. Not working for you? You just stop. To cancel, email info@belvanger.nl or send a WhatsApp message. Cancel partway through a month and that month finishes, after which it stops. We charge no cancellation fee and no extra final month.

6. What you take with you when you stop

You buy the setup, you rent the monthly service. In concrete terms, within five working days of your cancellation you receive:

• Your website as files. Every page, text, photo, colour and font in a folder you can put on any hosting. There's no system of ours wrapped around it that you need.
• Your leads as a CSV file. Every contact and message that came in through Belvanger. That data is yours, not ours.
• Your chatbot's knowledge base as a text file. That's your business information.

Your domain name is registered in your name and stays yours. Your own phone number stays yours; we only remove the forwarding of missed calls, and we confirm in writing when that's done.

What stops is the service: running on our server, catching missed calls, the dashboard and the AI chat. The contact form and the chat on your website run on our side, so at handover we replace them with your email address and WhatsApp, so your site keeps working. You take your data with you, not our software. Same as with an accountant: your records are yours, their accounting package isn't.

We delete your data from our servers 30 days after the export, so you have time to check you have everything. On request we do it sooner. Once it's deleted, we confirm that in writing.

7. Your data and your customers' data

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy statement. You remain responsible for how you handle the leads and customer data you receive through Belvanger.

Because we process your customers' data on your instructions, you are the controller and we are the processor. That calls for a data processing agreement: we sign one at the start, setting out what we may do with that data, which parties we involve, what happens in the event of a data breach, and that you get the data back or we delete it when it ends.

8. Liability

We're not liable for damage arising from use of, or temporary unavailability of, the service, except where that may not be excluded by law.

9. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms.
